MORTGAGE CHECKLIST
  • Is marital status of the mortgagor included?
  • If married, did the spouse sign (if homestead property)?
  • Is the legal description included or is Exhibit A attached?
  • Are the mortgagor's names included on the mortgage exactly the way title is vested (as shown on the commitment for title)?
  • Are the signatures notarized?
  • Is the check for recording fees attached?
  • Have you sent necessary documentation for requirements as shown under Schedule B so the final title policy can be issued?
